Who
we are and what do we do?
We
are dedicated to the advancement of all religions and the elimination of prejudice based on
religious beliefs.. We welcome all people regardless of race, religion, or creed. We do
not limit our outreach to the Pagan community alone. Love and kindness know no boundaries.
We DO NOT support or foster the dogma of those who promote hate, malcontent or division
within the religious community.
The
mission of the organizers of the Heart of the Ozarks PPD Picnic is to foster pride in the
Pagan identity through charity to our community, open discussion of pagan beliefs and
cooperation between pagan and mainstream religions for the betterment of the community. To
further this mission we organize and coordinate our main event during the time of the Pagan
harvest season and gather in monetary donations, food and articles of clothing for
distribution to domestic violence and homeless shelters within our community. Other
activity may include but are not limited to public religious ceremonies, picnics, parades,
festivals, networking events, public education through media and publications, food drives
and other charitable donations and drives.
Our
members shall not in any substantive manner engage in activities that are illegal or that
are not in the furtherance with the stated purpose of the organization.
